Job summary

S.A. Comunale is seeking an Extinguisher/Kitchen Suppression Technician. The primary function is to perform NFPA-based service, inspections and installations of portable extinguishers, kitchen extinguishing systems, and exit/emergency light inspections.

The Company goal is to grow the revenues of the Fire Extinguisher/Kitchen Suppression Department while maintaining profits and NFPA compliance. Responsibilities include performing service and inspections per NFPA standards, troubleshooting

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
2+ years related work experience required.
Knowledge of NFPA 10, 17, 17A, and 96 required.
Basic mechanical skills and troubleshooting.
Ability to lift a minimum of 75 pounds and work on ladders/at heights.
Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
Ability to obtain all necessary certifications.

Responsibilities

Perform NFPA-based service, inspections and installations of portable extinguishers and kitchen suppression systems.
Inspect exit/emergency lighting and related components.
Troubleshoot issues and communicate findings to owners and service managers.
Monitor progress and complete all work tickets and inspection reports in a timely manner.
Self-schedule daily inspections and manage inventory/workload.
Upsell company capabilities to new and existing customers.
Perform inspections from man lifts at elevations of 30–40 feet as needed.
Participate in after-hours / emergency on-call rotation.
