Job summary

DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Chicago - North Shore Conference Center is seeking a Hotel Dishwasher to support our kitchen and food & beverage operations. You will maintain high standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and organization to ensure the TEAM has the clean equipment, dishes, and utensils needed for an exceptional dining experience.

Qualifications

• Previous hotel, restaurant, or kitchen experience preferred; we are willing to train the right person
• Reliable, hardworking, and self-motivated
• Strong attention to cleanliness and detail
• Positive attitude and willing to be part of a TEAM

Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment
• Operate commercial dishwashing and kitchen equipment safely and properly
• Maintain clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen work areas
• Keep dishwashing areas, sinks, floors, and equipment clean throughout the shift
• Sort and remove trash and recycling and transport it to designated areas
• Clean and sanitize garbage and waste containers as needed
• Maintain adequate supplies of clean dishes, utensils, and equipment for kitchen and food & beverage operations
• Assist with kitchen cleaning and sanitation duties as assigned
• Follow all food safety, health, sanitation, and workplace safety standards
• Work cooperatively with the culinary and food & beverage TEAM
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management

Compensation

$15.50 per hour
