Job summary

Graton Resort & Casino is hiring a Kitchen Worker to maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, washing dishes, utensils, glassware, pots and pans, and small equipment. The role supports sanitation, safety, and basic maintenance while assisting with opening/closing cleaning duties during shifts.

Candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment, follow safety protocols, and have or obtain a California Food Handlers Certificate.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively with Guests, Team Members and Management in both written and verbal form.
• Working knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safety protocols.
• Must possess or obtain a California Food Handlers Certificate.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, utensils, glassware, and small kitchen equipment.
• Operate commercial dishwashing machines safely and correctly.
• Maintain a clean work area and kitchen by sweeping and mopping floors.
• Stock clean dishes, utensils, and equipment in designated areas.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and safety guidelines.
