The Kitchen Director will oversee daily operations, organize shifts, manage inventory, and maintain high sanitation standards while collaborating with the local owner-operator Kate McNerney to foster growth and community engagement.

Qualifications

• Proven work experience as Kitchen Manager/Chef.
• Expert in kitchen sanitation and safety regulations.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Conflict management abilities.
• Ability to manage a team in a fast-paced work environment.
• Evenings and weekends required.
• ServSafe certification required.

Responsabilités

• Lead kitchen staff for daily operations.
• Ensure food presentation and temperatures meet standards at all times.
• Supervise food prep and cooking.
• Attend weekly director-level meetings and contribute strategic content.
• Facilitate constant training and leadership development.
• Schedule kitchen staff shifts.
• Order food supplies and kitchen equipment as needed.
• Train staff on prep work and plating techniques.
• Store food products safely and in compliance with regulations.
• Keep weekly and monthly cost reports.
• Maintain sanitation and safety standards in the kitchen.
