Job summary

Harmony Senior Services, LLC is seeking a Food Service/Prep Aide in State College, PA. The role supports the cook with food preparation, portioning, and presentation while maintaining dishwashing areas and overall cleanliness of the dining operation.

You will assist in cleaning kitchens, setting up dishwashing, stocking shelves, and aiding dining room service as needed. Candidates should be able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Good organizational skills and ability to work well with others as part of a team.
• Ability to stand, kneel, and walk for extended periods.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs and carry heavy objects for distances.

Responsibilities

• Assist cook with food preparation and presentation.
• Manage dishwashing area and ensure cleanliness of dishes, silverware, and glassware.
• Set up and run dishwashing operation; maintain sanitation of equipment.
• Stock food on shelves and in refrigerator; rotate items as needed.
• Provide superior customer service to residents and guests.
