Job summary

Tague Lumber's Malvern design showroom is seeking an experienced Kitchen Designer to work face-to-face with clients, builders, and remodelers to create customized kitchen layouts.

The role focuses on consultative selling, accurate documentation, and delivering exceptional customer experiences, using 20/20 Design or AutoCAD to produce layouts and estimates. A 5-7 year track record and a Bachelor's in Interior Design are preferred.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of professional experience in kitchen and bath design.
• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or related discipline.
• Proficiency with 20/20 design software or AutoCAD.
• Strong design estimating and sales abilities.
• Ability to manage projects from concept to final completion.
• Must have a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Conduct client consultations to provide expert guidance on kitchen and bath design projects.
• Educate, guide, and recommend products aligned with client design goals.
• Balance sales focus with margin expectations and profitability.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, including meeting notes and drawings.
• Produce professional layouts using 20/20 Design or AutoCAD.
• Manage all aspects of assigned projects, including site measures, orders, delivery scheduling, and follow-up.
• Develop design solutions for residential and select commercial projects.
