Job summary

Tague Lumber is seeking an experienced full-time Kitchen Designer for our Malvern showroom. You will work face-to-face with clients, collaborating with builders and homeowners to develop customized kitchen designs and exceptional customer experiences.

Essential duties include conducting consultations, guiding product selections, producing layouts with 20/20 or AutoCAD, and managing projects from concept to completion. In-person work Mon-Fri is required in a customer-focused showroom setting.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of professional experience in kitchen and bath design.
• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or related discipline.
• Proficiency with 20/20 design software or AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Conduct client consultations to provide expert guidance on kitchen and bath projects.
• Educate and guide clients on products and solutions aligned with design goals.
• Balance sales focus with margin understanding and profitability.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, including notes and drawings.

Tague Lumber is seeking an experienced full-time Kitchen Designer to join our Malvern Sowroom team. In this role, you will work directly with prospective clients in a beautifully appointed showroom, collaborating to understand their needs and create customized kitchen designs. The Kitchen Designer’s primary focus is face-to-face consultative selling with professional builders, remodelers, and their customers, delivering thoughtful solutions and an exceptional customer experience.

Essential Job Functions:

• Conduct client consultations to provide expert guidance on kitchen and bath design projects.
• Educate, guide, and recommend products and project solutions aligned with each client’s design goals.
• Balance a strong sales focus with an understanding of margin expectations and overall profitability.
• Maintains accurate, detailed project documentation, including meeting notes and design drawings.
• Produce professional layouts using applicable design software (e.g., 20/20).
• Manage all aspects of assigned projects, including site meausres, order entry, contract documentation, delivery scheduling, and follow-up.
• Develop design solutions for both residential and select commercial projects.

Requirements:

• 5-7 years of professional experience in kitchen and bath design.
• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or a related discipline.
• Proficiency with 20/20 design software or AutoCAD is required.
• Ability to quickly learn and utilize manufacturer-specific product software.
• Strong expertise in design estimating and sales, with the ability to effectively collaborate with contractors, architects, and homeowners.
• Demonstrated ability to manage projects from initial concept through final completion.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• A strong commitment to quality craftsmanship and exceptional attention to detail.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must work in-person, Monday - Friday.
