Job summary

Tague Lumber in Malvern is seeking an experienced Kitchen Designer to join our showroom team. This full-time role emphasizes face-to-face consultative selling with builders, remodelers, and homeowners to craft customized kitchen designs and deliver an exceptional customer experience.

Responsibilities include client consultations, product guidance, accurate project documentation, layout production using 20/20 or AutoCAD, and managing projects from concept through completion, including site

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of professional experience in kitchen and bath design.
• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or related discipline.
• Proficiency with 20/20 design software or AutoCAD is required.
• Ability to quickly learn and utilize manufacturer-specific product software.
• Strong expertise in design estimating and sales, with collaboration with contractors and homeowners.
• Demonstrated ability to manage projects from concept to completion.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• A valid driver's license is required.
• Must work in-person, Monday–Friday.

Responsibilities

• Conduct client consultations to provide expert guidance on kitchen and bath design projects.
• Educate, guide, and recommend products aligned with each client’s design goals.
• Balance a strong sales focus with margin expectations and profitability.
• Maintain accurate, detailed project documentation, including notes and drawings.
• Produce professional layouts using design software such as 20/20 or AutoCAD.
• Manage all aspects of assigned projects, including site measures, orders, and delivery scheduling.
• Develop design solutions for residential and select commercial projects.
