Job summary

Nation’s Best Holdings LLC in Berlin, NH, is seeking an experienced Kitchen & Bath Designer to join our Caron Building Center team. We focus on relationships, customer service, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.

You will build partnerships, execute the full design process, read blueprints, prepare bids and estimates, and support projects from consultations to final walk-through. High school diploma and 3+ years sales in building materials preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; some college in Project Design preferred.
• Minimum 3+ years sales experience in building materials or construction.
• Experience in Project Design, Project Design Sales, and Project Design Management.
• Experience creating take-offs and estimates preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs at random times.
• Results-oriented with strong customer service and values alignment.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with flexibility.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to service.

Responsibilities

• Build new partnerships and support existing customers and contractors.
• Execute the design process including client consultations, site visits, and presenting/selling the project.
• Assist in pre-construction meetings and participate in final project walk-throughs with clients.
• Transcribe information into the system to order products and determine size/quantity.
• Maintain a pleasant, customer-service oriented image with customers.
• Read blueprints and prepare bids and material estimates from client/contractor blueprints.
• Perform additional duties as required.

What Does a Kitchen & Bath Designer Do?

• Build new partnership/relationships and support existing customers and contractors.
• Executes the design process, including client consultations, site visits, leading the client presentation and selling the project.
• Assists in the pre‑construction meeting and participates in final project walk through with client.
• Transcribes all necessary information into system to order products, determine size and quantity, etc.
• Maintain a consistent, pleasant, customer service‑oriented image to customers.
• Read blueprints.
• Prepare bids and material estimates from customer or contractor blueprints.
• Additional Duties as required.

What Does It Take to be Successful Kitchen & Bath Designer?

• High school diploma or equivalent required, some college in Project Design preferred.
• 3+ years sales experience in the building materials or construction industry.
• Experience in the following fields: Project Design, Project Design Sales, Project Design Management.
• Experience creating take-offs and estimates preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. on a random basis.
• Results‑oriented with ability to serve customers with humility and be a steward of Nation’s Best’s values.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment while remaining adaptable and flexible.
• Strong interpersonal skills with willingness to consistently provide superior customer service skills.
