Job summary

Tempe Mission Palms in Tempe, AZ, seeks a Kitchen/Culinary Supervisor to ensure consistent, high-quality meals and supervise hourly cooks. You may assist the Sous Chef during absences while applying culinary skills and leadership in a fast-paced hotel setting.

This full-time role requires basic kitchen operation knowledge, culinary education, cost awareness, and strong communication. It emphasizes hospitality, teamwork, and a careful approach to payroll and scheduling within Hyatt's dining

Kitchen/Culinary Supervisor – Tempe Mission Palms Hotel | TEM001304

Description

Basic understanding of a kitchen operation within the hotel. Responsible for producing a consistent, quality product that meets and exceeds the guests’ needs in a timely manner. Person has basic skills in department training and is capable of assuming department responsibilities in the absence of the Sous Chef. Skills and knowledge to include culinary education, basic cost control understanding, basic communication, leadership skills and computer skills. May assist in monitoring payroll costs & overtime. Responsibilities include the supervising of hourly cooks.

Kitchen Supervisors must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays. This is a full-time position.
