Truststone Group, LLC, a New York-based wholesaler and design company, seeks a Product & Sourcing Manager to own the Kitchen and Cleaning categories end-to-end, leading development, trend identification, and sourcing.

You will build a competitive product assortment, analyze market trends, visit retailers, and negotiate with overseas manufacturers to secure timely, cost-efficient supply. This role demands travel and collaboration with sales, sourcing, and compliance teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in product development, sourcing, or category management within consumer goods.
• Experience in Kitchen and/or Cleaning categories preferred.
• Experience with overseas manufacturing and mass-market channels.

Responsibilities

• Own the Kitchen and Cleaning categories from concept through production.
• Build and maintain a complete and competitive product assortment.
• Ensure the product line reflects current trends and customer demand.
• Identify gaps and develop new products to fill needs.
• Conduct ongoing market research to stay ahead of trends.
• Visit retail stores and competitors to analyze product offerings and positioning.
• Translate market insights into actionable development and sourcing strategies.
• Source products and materials from overseas factories, primarily in Asia.
• Maintain communication with suppliers to identify new opportunities.
• Vet and evaluate factories for quality, reliability, and cost efficiency.
• Negotiate pricing, MOQs, and timelines aligned with business goals.
• Analyze category performance and identify opportunities to grow revenue.
• Align product strategy with customer and buyer needs.
• Continuously evolve the category to drive expansion and competitiveness.
• Partner with sales teams to present product lines and support customer meetings.
• Participate in buyer meetings to showcase new products and direction.
• Collaborate with sourcing, production, and compliance teams for smooth execution.
• Ensure alignment between product vision and operational delivery.
• Travel internationally to visit suppliers and attend trade shows, mainly in Asia.
• Build strong supplier relationships and stay current on manufacturing capabilities.
