Job summary

Briggs Inc of Omaha, Lenexa, Kansas is seeking a Kitchen & Bath Showroom Assistant to support the store manager and showroom consultants, greet visitors, and help with clerical tasks.

You will process written orders into quotes, coordinate with vendors, manage literature, and assist with inventory and daily reports, while delivering excellent customer service.

Hours are Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with one Saturday per month from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm, at the Lenexa, KS showroom.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Six months to one year of previous experience in a retail or showroom environment.
• Strong customer service skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, written and verbally.
• Ability to lift and handle materials up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Greet and direct all showroom visitors.
• Follow up on open job statuses for ETA on products when requested by manager or consultants.
• Answer multi-line phone professionally and transfer customers to the appropriate consultant or voicemail.
• Support consultants by processing written orders into quotes accurately and timely.
• Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of products.
• Responsible for contacting customers when orders are complete.
• Update, prepare, and organize picture books regularly in a timely manner.
• Organize and order showroom literature and distribute updated price books.
• Provide administrative support, including managing mail, daily tickets, balancing cash drawer weekly, and day end reports for showroom.
• Assist warehouse with product check in, receiving SX, and prepare transfer shipment paperwork for all carrier transports.
• Maintain inventory, stocking supplies, and cleanliness of the showroom.
