Role Description

The Showroom Assistant is a full-time, on-site role based in Wichita, KS, supporting daily showroom operations and customer interactions. Responsibilities include greeting visitors, answering questions about countertops and materials, and guiding customers through product options, finishes, and design selections. The role involves preparing and organizing product displays, maintaining a clean and welcoming showroom environment, and assisting with samples, quotes, and order details. The Showroom Assistant will follow up with prospective customers, and help ensure a smooth and professional buying experience.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service skills, with the ability to provide courteous, professional support to a wide range of customers.
• Effective communication skills, including clear verbal communication and active listening in a showroom environment.
• Experience working in showrooms or similar customer-facing spaces, preferably with home improvement or design products.
• Sales and retail sales skills, including comfort discussing product features, pricing, and assisting customers with purchase decisions.
• Basic understanding of interior design or building materials (stone, quartz, tile, etc.) is helpful.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, move samples, and maintain organized displays.
• Strong attention to detail, reliability, and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Prior experience in a customer-facing role; high school diploma or equivalent preferred.
