Job summary

Gillman Home Center in Indiana is seeking an interior design assistant to help customers with cabinets, countertops, flooring and appliances. You will greet customers, advise on design solutions, prepare layouts using 2020, Saberis, and Spruce, and assist with quotes, orders and deliveries.

You will travel to homes or job sites for measurements, coordinate with the Sales Manager on project details, and provide in-store support such as ringing up sales, price changes, and cycle counts.

Qualifications

• College degree in related interior design field preferred.
• 1-3 years design experience.
• Knowledge and proficient in the 2020 design program.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent service to customers.
• Greet and assist customers in a positive, approachable manner and resolve concerns.
• Assist customers with interior designs for their home or project.
• Travel to homes or job sites to take measurements and verify layout compatibility.
• Work with the Sales Manager to resolve customer complaints and issues.
• Provide in-store support including ringing out customers and price changes.
