Job summary

Gillman Home Center is seeking an interior design assistant to help customers with home design needs, including cabinets, countertops, flooring and appliances. You will greet clients, advise on solutions, and guide them from quotes to installation.

The role requires design software knowledge, strong customer service, and collaborative teamwork in a full‑time store environment. Some travel to job sites may be involved.

Qualifications

• Hospitality-driven design support and client communication learned in retail settings.
• Ability to interpret design requests and translate into home layouts and quotes.
• Familiarity with 2020 design software or equivalent CAD tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with interior design needs for cabinets, countertops, flooring and appliances.
• Provide excellent service and resolve customer concerns with courtesy and respect.
• Create designs and layouts using Saberis, 20/20 and Spruce; prepare quotes and orders.
