Job summary

Gillman Home Center is seeking an interior design assistant to help customers plan cabinets, countertops, flooring and appliances. You will greet clients, advise on solutions, and support design projects from measurement through installation.

The ideal candidate has a related interior design degree (preferred), 1–3 years of design experience, and proficiency with the 2020 Design program. This full‑time position includes benefits, employee discount, and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• College degree in related interior design field preferred.
• 1-3 years of design experience.
• Knowledge and proficiency in the 2020 Design program.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent service to customers.
• Assist customers with interior designs for homes or projects.
• Travel to homes or job sites to take measurements and verify layouts.
• Create designs, quotes, orders, and invoices using Saberis, 20/20, and Spruce.
• Ensure orders are invoiced before leaving the store and handle returns/credits.
• Follow up with customers from quote to project completion.
