Job summary

Carter Kitchen & Bath, a division of Carter Lumber, seeks a Kitchen Design and Sales Representative to design and sell interior spaces for new construction and remodeling projects. You will measure sites, create cabinetry designs, and secure final sales while working with builders, contractors, and homeowners.

The role requires proven sales strategies, strong relationship-building, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to design and to sell to contractors and homeowners.
• Excellent knowledge of kitchen and bath cabinetry, materials, finishes, detailing, and trends.
• Working knowledge of 20/20 and Microsoft Office programs.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Ability to perform detail-oriented tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule based on customer needs.
• Strong math skills for quoting.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Design and sell interior spaces (kitchens, bathrooms, offices, mudrooms, bars, etc.) to contractors and homeowners.
• Take measurements for new construction and remodeling projects from site to delivery.
• Develop designs and secure final sale.
• Collaborate with builders, contractors, and homeowners throughout the process.
• Read blueprints and develop accurate plans and quotes.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients and vendors.
