Job summary

Northern Building Supply, a Division of US LBM Holdings, LLC, seeks a Kitchen & Bath Designer to assist customers in design and product selection within a retail showroom environment. You will also follow up with customers and builders to ensure timely project completion and maintain extensive product knowledge.

The role requires strong CAD capabilities, salesmanship, and ability to present designs to contractors and homeowners, with emphasis on accurate orders and timely deliveries.

Qualifications

• Advanced CAD drafting skills and design presentation experience.
• Strong salesmanship and customer-facing design guidance.
• Extensive knowledge of kitchen & bath products and materials.

Responsibilities

• Solicit new accounts, conduct job site visits, and prospect for new projects.
• Greet clients to the design center, assess needs and assist with product selection.
• Conduct pre-construction site inspections and measurements.
• Perform automated design capability within stock and semi-custom product categories.
• Conduct bid and prep proposal functions.
• Order project materials and coordinate schedules.
• Act as liaison between customer, vendors, and subcontractors.
• Review accounts for payments and credits and maintain pricing knowledge.
• Ensure all vendor literature is presented and showroom stays professional.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of cabinet lines and lead times.
