Job summary

Ashby Lumber is seeking a full-time Kitchen and Bath Designer to join our design team. You will work with clients to design kitchens and baths, interpret blueprints, and manage estimates and orders in a fast-paced showroom or outside sales setting.

The right candidate will be proficient with design software, capable of data transfer to Excel, and eager to learn 20/20 Design. Independent work, professionalism, and teamwork are essential to success.

Qualifications

• Requires proficiency in design and attention to detail.
• Proficient with computers; eager to learn 20/20 Design software.
• Ability to read, evaluate and verify documents for sales orders and related sheets.
• Able to work independently and assist other team members.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers in showroom promptly and professionally.
• Interpret blueprints and drawings to aid design.
• Collaborate with clients to design kitchens and bathrooms.
• Process estimates, orders and invoices accurately and timely.
• Coordinate stock material needs and special orders with buyers/vendors.
• Prepare paperwork for ordering, receiving and deliveries; communicate with dispatcher.
