Job summary

Carter Lumber, a family-owned company with a long history, is seeking a Cabinet Sales Designer in the Hampton, NC area. You will manage new construction and remodeling projects from measurement to delivery, working directly with builders, contractors, and homeowners to design interior spaces such as kitchens, baths and offices.

The role requires proven sales strategies, strong communication, and relationship-building skills.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to design and to sell to contractors and homeowners
• Knowledge of kitchen and bath cabinetry materials, finishes, detailing and trends
• Ability to read blueprints and read plans with accuracy

Responsibilities

• Design interior spaces (kitchens, baths, offices, mudrooms, bars) from measurement to delivery
• Secure final sale through strong relationship-building and follow-through
• Collaborate with builders, contractors and homeowners to deliver projects
