Job summary

Drury Hotels Company, LLC invites you to join our Kitchen+Bar team as a Cocktail Server. You will help maintain a clean Kitchen+Bar area while serving guests and supporting bartenders with drinks and food.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years old or older.
• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of two years of college preferred.
• Ability to obtain and maintain all appropriate certifications per Company requirements.
• Ability to take written and verbal direction in English and speak English clearly.
• Ability to serve a wide variety of drinks in a fast-paced environment.
• Performs duties of prep cook or other positions as needed.
• Ability to handle money, make change and utilize office machines in normal day-to-day activities.
• Ability to operate machines and equipment used, including cash register POS software, dishwashers, kitchen equipment, etc.
• Excellent customer service skills; ability to communicate effectively with customers and all levels of team members; ability to diplomatically deal with difficult situations and people while exhibiting a consistent level of professionalism including bar guests and when leading other team members.
• Ability to support bartender with serving of alcohol beverages and food, but does not prepare, make, or pour alcoholic beverages.
• Ability to clean and maintain areas for which responsible.
• Ability to effectively and efficiently move around bar area.
• Ability to distinguish between different denominations of currency and make change.
