Drury Plaza Hotel – Antioch is seeking a prep cook to maintain the Kitchen+Bar area, prep foods, and assist guests with service. You’ll be part of a team focused on hospitality, integrity, and high standards in a busy hotel environment.

The role requires a HS diploma or equivalent, 18+ years old, English proficiency, and willingness to learn Drury’s service standards. Prior kitchen or prep experience is helpful, with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years of college coursework preferred.
• Ability to obtain and maintain certifications per Company requirements.
• Ability to communicate in English clearly.
• Ability to serve a wide variety of drinks in a fast-paced environment.
• Performs duties of prep cook or other positions as needed.
• Ability to handle money, make change, and use POS systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain food prep and Kitchen+Bar area in a clean, organized manner.
• Serve and assist guests with hospitality and integrity.
• Support bartender with serving of beverages and food when needed.
• Clean and maintain areas and equipment; operate kitchen machines.
• Handle transactions and operate cash register as required.

This position is responsible for maintaining the food prep and Kitchen+Bar area in a clean, well-organized manner while serving and assisting guests.
