Job summary

Pyramid Healthcare is seeking a PRN Kitchen Associate at the Charlotte Hall Facility to support dietary functions, meal preparation, and sanitation. The role offers $15/hour and Serv-Safe training is offered with opportunities for advancement.

Previous food service experience is preferred, with ServSafe certification preferred. Join a team committed to quality behavioral healthcare and supporting residents through structured meal programs.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance with all dietary functions as directed in accordance with established department policies and procedures.
• Assist with preparing and serving meals following established food safety standards and guidelines.
• Perform daily and/or scheduled cleaning tasks.
• Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, and equipment according to established procedures.
• Dispose of food and waste in accordance with facility and regulatory guidelines.
• Sweep and mop floors as assigned.
• Restock food, beverages, and supplies for meal service.
• Assist in the receiving, rotating, and storage of food and supplies.
• Assist with Cook responsibilities as assigned.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

The Charlotte Hall Drug & Alcohol Residential Treatment Center has served local communities for over 40 years, providing treatment through structured programs for detox, residential care, medication-assisted treatment, and family education for both men and women. Pyramid Healthcare offers comprehensive behavioral healthcare to help clients develop the strength needed to overcome life’s challenges, allowing individuals at all stages of recovery to reclaim their health and well-being.

Hourly Rate:

$15/hour Serv-Safe Training Certification Offered. Opportunities for advancement and career growth.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide assistance with all dietary functions as directed in accordance with established department policies and procedures.
• Assist with preparing and serving meals following established food safety standards and guidelines.
• Perform daily and/or scheduled cleaning tasks.
• Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, and equipment according to established procedures and return them to storage areas.
• Dispose of food and waste in accordance with facility and regulatory guidelines.
• Sweep and mop floors as assigned.
• Restock food, beverages, and supplies for meal service.
• Assist in the receiving, rotating, and storage of food and supplies.
• Assist with Cook responsibilities as assigned.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Education & Experience:

Previous food service experience preferred. ServSafe Certification preferred.
