Job summary

Pyramid Healthcare in Radford, VA is hiring for a full-time Food Service / Kitchen Associate in our Culinary Department. You will prepare, cook and serve meals following established policies, maintain a clean, safe kitchen, and help ensure food safety standards and proper documentation.

Hourly rate ranges from $16.50 to $18.00, with weekend availability and 40 hours per week. ServSafe certification is preferred, prior food service experience is a plus, and there are opportunities for advancement

Responsibilities

• Prepares, cooks and serves food in accordance with established policies and procedures, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintains an organized, clean and safe environment in the kitchen at all times.
• Complies with food safety standards and guidelines during all phases of food handling.
• Completes all required documentation including but not limited to food and equipment temperature logs.
• Washes and sanitizes dishes, utensils and equipment, and returns to proper storage areas as requested.
• Assists in assuring the proper receiving, rotating and storage of food and supplies.
• Other duties as assigned.

At Pyramid Healthcare in Radford we specialize in Substance Use Disorder Treatment.
