The Charlotte Hall Drug & Alcohol Residential Treatment Center has served local communities for more than 40 years, delivering structured programs for detox, residential care, medication‑assisted treatment, and family education for both men and women. We are seeking a Kitchen Associate to support our clients with meal preparation, serving, and kitchen upkeep.

Responsibilities

Assist with meal preparation and serving.
Clean dishes, utensils, equipment, pots, and pans.
Maintain a clean, organized kitchen, work areas, dining room, and serving areas.
Provide assistance with all dietary functions following established department policies and procedures.
Prepare and serve meals while adhering to food‑safety standards.
Perform daily and scheduled cleaning tasks, including washing, sanitizing, and returning dishes to storage.
Dispose of food waste in compliance with facility and regulatory guidelines.
Sweep and mop floors as assigned.
Restock food, beverages, and supplies for meal service.
Assist in receiving, rotating, and storing food and supplies.
Support cook responsibilities as assigned.
Perform other duties as directed by the supervisor.

Qualifications & Experience

Previous food service experience preferred. ServSafe Certification preferred.

Hourly Rate and Schedule

Hourly Rate: $15/hour

Schedule: Sunday – Saturday, 6:00 am – 7:00 pm
