Job summary

Adams Fairacre Farms is seeking a Kitchen Associate I to support cooking and stocking duties in a fast-paced grocery environment. You will ensure fresh, high-quality products are ready for customers and maintain a clean, organized kitchen area.

You will work closely with cooks and team members, provide friendly, knowledgeable service, and help uphold Adams’ culture and values. Open Sundays and flexible other days are required.

Qualifications

• Primary focus of this position will be cooking and stocking of prepared foods cases.
• Open availability needed on Sundays, flexibility for all other days of the week.
• Must be 18+ to qualify.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, knowledgeable service to customers in person or by phone.
• Stock, rotate, and label products to ensure freshness and quality.
• Keep hot bar, cold cases, and salad bar full, clean, and up to standard.
• Monitor product levels and inform cooks when items run low.
• Receive, weigh, and store deliveries accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness in all areas including dishes, counters, cases and prep spaces.
• Prioritize customer assistance to ensure a positive shopping experience.
