Job summary

Heinen’s, Inc. in Chagrin Falls, OH is seeking a part-time Kitchen Associate to support daily food preparation, stocking, and customer service with a focus on quality and safety.

You will prep sandwiches and hot/cold items, handle produce and meats, follow approved procedures, and work with a team to meet daily goals. Flexible schedule includes weekends and evenings; hourly pay ranges from $15.00 to $21.00.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize daily work based on varying business needs.
• Prepare foods (sandwiches, wraps, trays) per customer orders.
• Wash, peel, and cut fruits, vegetables, and meats for cooking or serving.
• Follow Heinen’s panning, packaging, and merchandising standards.
• Acquire and share knowledge of Kitchen Department.
• Monitor and maintain all food handling and temperature standards.
• Write orders using pars and planning.
• Work as a team to complete daily tasks, including stocking and merchandising.
• Attend required corporate meetings, vendor calls, and training classes.
• Comply with all personal and food safety company standards.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize daily work based on varying business needs.


• Prepare a variety of foods, such as sandwiches, wraps, trays, according to customers’ orders following approved procedures.


• Wash, peel, and cut various foods, such as fruits, vegetables and meats, to prepare for cooking or serving.
