Grimm Artisanal Ales and Lala’s Brooklyn Apizza are seeking dedicated kitchen staff to join our tight-knit team in Williamsburg. The role emphasizes wood-fired oven and sourdough proficiency, with a focus on teamwork and high-quality, locally sourced ingredients.

Ideal candidates are energetic, orderly, and able to multitask in a fast-paced kitchen. The team operates with a collaborative mindset and offers opportunities to learn across beer and food disciplines.

Qualifications

• Kitchen experience with sourdough, wood-fired cooking, and pizza preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 55 pounds.
• Flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Follow health and safety regulations.
• Oversee cleanliness of all kitchen areas and equipment.
• Stock cleaning supplies and keep the kitchen organized and sanitary.
• Assist kitchen staff during service and prep items as needed.
• Assist in putting deliveries away and keeping dish pits organized.
• Shadowing and learning cook stations; participate in ongoing learning.
• Enjoy and promote the discount program for Grimm and Lala’s products.
• Take part in PTO and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
