Job summary

Grimm Artisanal Ales seeks a Dishwasher for Grimm Tavern in Prospect Heights, Brooklyn. You’ll be the backbone of the kitchen, keeping dishes, pots, and utensils clean and available to support line cooks and servers during busy service.

Qualifications

• Prior dish or kitchen experience is a plus, but not required; we’ll train you.
• You work fast, keep a clean station, and communicate clearly with the team.
• NYC Food Protection Certificate (Food Handler’s License) preferred; assistance to obtain it provided.

Responsibilities

• Run the dish station from open to close; wash, sanitize, and organize all dishes and kitchenware.
• Keep the dish pit organized and efficient; anticipate the line’s needs.
• Return clean items to proper places promptly; maintain kitchen cleanliness throughout service.
• Receive and break down deliveries; assist with basic prep as time allows.
