Job summary

Insights Training Group, LLC is seeking motivated Dining/Food Service Assistants at the Carl D Perkins Job Corps Center in Kentucky. You will assist cooks and the Food Services Manager with meal preparation, serving, and sanitation, ensuring a clean, organized dining area and proper food handling.

Responsibilities include setting up serving lines, rotating perishables, and serving students, staff, and guests in a courteous, efficient manner.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent) and some related experience preferred.
• Experience in food service is strongly preferred.
• NRA Food Service Sanitation or Serve Safe certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist cooks and Food Services Manager with food preparation, serving, and sanitation.
• Set up and breakdown of serving line and dining area.
• Keep dining and kitchen areas clean and organized; restock as needed.
• Assist with rotating perishable items to ensure freshness.
• Serve students, staff, and guests in a courteous and efficient manner.
• Operate kitchen equipment (dishwasher, slicer, mixer) and follow safety rules.
