Job summary

Insights Training Group LLC is seeking a qualified candidate to provide overall supervision of the food service operation at the Carl D Perkins Job Corps Center. This role ensures well-balanced, nutritious meals for students and maintains high standards of food safety and service quality.

Education required includes a Bachelor’s Degree in Hotel, Restaurant, Institutional Management. Experience with NRA Food Service Sanitation, a valid driver’s license, and management background are preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Hotel, Restaurant, Institutional Management preferred.
• Experience: NRA Food Service Sanitation or equivalent, Valid State Driver’s License, and one year management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that students receive well-balanced, nutritious meals.
• Provide three meals per day, with snacks on weekends/holidays when third meal is not provided.
• Develop and implement procedures for ordering, purchasing, receiving, storing, inventorying, and issuing food products.
• Ensure meals meet dietary needs and cultural preferences of a diverse population.
• Maintain sanitary dining areas and comply with state/local food handling standards.
• Supervise and evaluate kitchen and dining staff and enforce safety and health policies.
