Job summary

Lasting Impressions Child Development Center in Clarksburg, WV is seeking a dedicated Kitchen Assistant/Food Prep team member to nourish young learners daily. Join a caring team focused on safe, healthy meals in a child-centered setting.

You will follow menus and recipes, maintain a clean, sanitary kitchen, and support inventory and food safety practices in a fast-paced environment. Training and development are available as part of our benefits.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in food prep, food service, or a commercial kitchen preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards (ServSafe certification a plus).
• Ability to follow recipes, menus, and dietary guidelines accurately.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Compassionate, team-oriented attitude with a passion for working in a child-centered setting.
• Ability to pass a background check as required for childcare facility employment.
