Lasting Impressions Child Development Center in Clarksburg, WV is seeking an Infant/Mobile Infant Assistant Teacher to join our caring team. You'll help nurture infants in a warm, supportive environment and work with lead teachers on developmentally appropriate activities.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, infant/toddler experience, knowledge of safe sleep practices, and the ability to obtain CPR/First Aid certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; early childhood education coursework preferred.
• Experience with infants or toddlers in childcare or educational setting is a plus.
• Knowledge of infant development, safe sleep practices, and basic health and safety guidelines.
• Ability to obtain or maintain CPR and First Aid certification
• Must meet WV childcare licensing background check requirements
• Warm, patient, and nurturing demeanor with strong communication and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

• Assist in providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for infants and mobile infants
• Support daily caregiving routines including feeding, diapering, and nap schedules
• Engage infants in age‑appropriate sensory and developmental activities
• Observe and document infant development milestones and daily progress
• Communicate openly and professionally with parents and guardians regarding their child's daily care
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment in compliance with licensing standards
• Collaborate with lead teachers to implement developmentally appropriate curriculum
