• Plan and deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate Pre-K curriculum aligned with WV public education standards
• Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment for early learners
• Assess and monitor student progress, maintaining accurate developmental records
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student growth and classroom activities
• Collaborate with assistant teachers, support staff, and administration to ensure program quality
• Implement social-emotional learning strategies to support whole-child development
• Participate in required trainings, staff meetings, and professional development opportunities

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field required
• WV Teaching Certificate or eligibility for Public Pre-K certification required
• Prior experience in a Pre-K, preschool, or early childhood classroom setting
• Strong knowledge of early childhood development principles and best practicesExcellent classroom management and communication skills
• Ability to pass required background checks and health screenings
• Warm, patient, and nurturing demeanor with a genuine passion for working with young children
• Must have a REAL ID (federal ID)
