Prelude LLC in Corvallis, OR is seeking a Kitchen Aide to support meal preparation, kitchen operations and dining service in our trauma-informed treatment setting. You will work closely with the Kitchen Manager to ensure timely service for four days per week.
The ideal candidate has at least one year of foodservice experience, a ServSafe certification (or willingness to obtain one) and strong organizational skills.

Overview:
Prelude: An Eating Disorder Treatment and Recovery Community is an eating disorder treatment and mental health facility that provides therapeutic snacks and meals to its clients and families four days per week. Prelude is looking for a Kitchen Aid who is comfortable working in a small, private kitchen and dining room setting and is willing to learn about the specific therapeutic food environment provided in eating disorder treatment settings. The Kitchen Aid will work alongside the Kitchen Manager, as well as the broader clinical team, to support meal preparation, kitchen operations & cleanliness, and meal service within our eating disorder treatment setting. An ideal candidate will be someone who is reliable, timely and mature. Must have a ServSafe certificate or have one within a week of employment.
Reports to: Kitchen Manager and Nutrition Director
Responsibilities
Perform Minor cooking tasks.
Assist the kitchen manager with both dinner seatings, with a quick turnover in between.
Assist in portioning and plating meals and snacks in accordance with established nutrition requirements.
Maintain the positive, anti-diet, all foods fit philosophy of Prelude
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen and dining room, including:
dishes, sweeping and mopping, organizing, scrubbing, disposing of trash, etc.
Maintain client confidentiality per HIPPA guidelines.
Assist the kitchen manager in other tasks as needed.
Requirements:
One year of experience in foodservice
ServSafe Certification (or interest in obtaining certification) preferred
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Have knowledge of or be willing to be trained in diversity, equity and inclusion practices
Physical Demands:
Lift and carry up to 40 lbs. daily
Stand 80% of the time while working
Kneel, bend, and reach for items often
Compensation: $15.50 -17.00 per hour, 13 hours per week
