Job summary

Mars is seeking an experienced Lead Operator to join our factory team. You will lead a small group of operators and temporary associates, coordinating daily production targets while maintaining equipment performance.

The role requires a mechanical background and prior leadership experience in a fast-paced environment, ideally within FMCG/high-speed production. Mars offers development opportunities through Mars University and a competitive benefits package including a company bonus.

Qualifications

• Educated to GCSE level.
• Mechanical training or background is a must.
• Experience leading / coordinating a small team of associates.
• Experience in FMCG / High speed production – desirable.

• Identify and repair mechanical breakdowns on various machinery.
• Accountable for the performance of several machines, processes, or pieces of equipment.
• Assisting operators with daily productions tasks to ensure line targets are met.
