Mars is seeking a Production Lead to own a set of machines and processes within the plant. You will perform start-up, shutdown, monitoring, basic changeovers, routine checks, and use of basic ancillary equipment and computer programs to meet area targets.

You will lead a shift of up to 15 associates, coaching the logistics team to achieve goals, and ensuring clear handovers while coordinating with plant functions. The role involves repairing mechanical issues using trained knowledge.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• Fluent English verbal and written skills.
• Experience in the FMCG / Factory Operations industry required.
• Mechanical training or experience in fault-finding required.
• 3+ years leadership experience required.

Job Description:

Working as Production Lead, the primary role is to demonstrate ownership and responsibility for a set of machines, pieces of equipment and/ or processes within their working area. This includes carrying out the routine operational tasks required to achieve area targets e.g. starting-up, shutting-down, monitoring, cleaning, and carrying out basic changeovers, minor repairs, routine checks and inspections, and the use of basic ancillary equipment and computer programs.

What are we looking for?

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• Fluent English verbal and written skills.
• Experience in the FMCG / Factory Operations industry required.
• Mechanical training or experience in fault-finding required.
• 3+ years leadership experience required.

Physical Requirements:

• Frequent lifting/carrying pushing (10-50 lbs) and pushing/pulling (50-300 lbs)
• Frequent bending, stooping, twisting, handling and gripping
• Ability to work at elevated heights, climb stairs, leaning over equipment and work in confined spaces
• Ability to stand and/or work on feet for extended periods (minimum eight hours in one shift).
• Ability to read, write and speak English
