Job summary

Mars is seeking an experienced Lead Operator to join our Sioux City factory team. You will lead a small group of operators, oversee multiple machines, and coordinate daily production tasks to hit line targets.

A mechanical background with GCSE level training is required, and you will diagnose and repair equipment, coach associates, and drive performance improvements. Prior leadership is desirable, but training is provided.

Qualifications

• GCSE level mechanical training or background.
• Experience leading/coordinating a small team of associates (desirable).
• Experience in FMCG/high-speed production (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate a small team of operators to achieve line targets.
• Identify and repair mechanical breakdowns on production machinery.
• Be accountable for the performance of several machines, processes, or pieces of equipment.
• Assist operators with daily production tasks to ensure targets are met.
