Job summary

Bio-Techne is seeking a Kit Assembly Supervisor in Minneapolis to lead a 4–8 person kit assembly team, prioritizing production orders and ensuring on-time delivery. You will train staff on SOPs, mentor reports, and assist in assembly as needed.

The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, process improvement, and adherence to safety and quality standards within a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with up to 3 years of relevant experience or an Associate degree with 3–5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; able to interpret data.

Responsibilities

• Supervise 4–8 direct reports to ensure on-time delivery of customer orders.
• Conduct monthly one-on-one meetings and provide performance feedback.
• Author, review, and approve controlled documents related to product kitting.
• Promote continuous improvement initiatives and CAPA actions.
• Monitor kit assembly inventory and production reports.
• Coordinate with adjacent departments to troubleshoot kit issues.
