Pay Range: $69,800.00 - $114,800.00

Position Summary: The Kit Assembly Supervisor is responsible for the daily management of a kit assembly work team. Under the direction of the Area Manager, this role leads a team of 4-8 direct reports, directing personnel and prioritizing assembly assignments to complete production orders and ensure on-time delivery to customers. The Supervisor trains new personnel on relevant SOPs, collaborates with cross-functional teams, mentors direct reports, and directly assists in kit assembly activities as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise personnel and provide guidance to ensure on-time delivery of customer orders.
• Conduct monthly one-on-one meetings with direct reports and provide performance and career development feedback.
• Author, review, and approve controlled documents related to product kitting.
• Actively promote and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Monitor and manage kit assembly inventory.
• Complete assigned action items related to change control, nonconformance investigations, and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
• Review and compile daily, weekly, and monthly production reports.
• Coordinate with adjacent department leaders to troubleshoot kit-related issues.
• Develop and maintain a working knowledge of kit assembly processes and participate in assembly activities when necessary.
• Follow all company safety, quality, and training procedures and regulations.
• Lead daily tier board meetings.
• Participate in area 5S and Gemba walk activities.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Experience: Requires a bachelor's degree with up to 3 years of relevant experience; Or, an Associate degree with 3-5 years of relevant experience

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite applications.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies preferred.
• Ability to work effectively in a dynamic production environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet production deadlines.
• Ability to build collaborative relationships across departments.

Working Conditions:

Work is performed in a manufacturing and production environment. Exposure to standard production equipment, materials, and laboratory/manufacturing processes. Minimal travel required. Must adhere to all safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and handle materials weighing 5-50 lbs.
• Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive assembly tasks for extended periods.
• Manual dexterity required for handling components, tools, and assembly equipment.
• Ability to bend, reach, and move materials throughout the work area as needed.
