Job summary

The Hillman Group is seeking a Full Time Field Service Technician to support the Washington, D.C. and Baltimore, MD region. You will service kiosks, perform repairs, install/new kiosks, and monitor machine health across 70+ kiosks with an emphasis on uptime and reliable store relations.

The role requires 1–3 years in a similar field, electromechanical repair experience, and strong English communication. A company car, cell phone reimbursement and gas card are provided; typical schedule is about

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Background in electromechanical repair and maintenance (preferred).
• Prior experience in retail merchandising, field operations and customer service (preferred).
• A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in a similar profile (preferred).
• Experience with tools and troubleshooting mechanical problems.
• Ability to read, write and speak fluent English to include technical “jargon”.

Responsibilities

• Re-stock and perform routine service on kiosks as needed (determined by demand at the machine, or schedule).
• Perform on-call repairs or adjustments to the machine when the machine goes out of order.
• New kiosk Installations or swap newer kiosks of machines in the local area.
• Monitor machines in territory daily for issues and contact stores to resolve connectivity or power issues.
• Keep track of inventory for re-stocking machines that are in Kiosk Tech’s possession.
• Grow revenue in territory by optimizing machine locations, uptime, product mix, store relationships, etc.
