Job summary

MTW Employment Services is looking for a Kinship Services Support Worker in Longlac, ON. This permanent full-time position involves ensuring that children's needs are met in kinship arrangements and advocating for their permanency. Qualifications include a diploma in Child and Family Services or related education, two years' experience with Anishinabek families, and a valid Class “G” Driver’s License. Qualifications

• Minimum two years’ experience with Anishinabek children, youth, individuals and families.
• Class “G” Driver’s License and access to a personal vehicle.
• Flexibility to work hours and travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the needs of children are met in kinship living arrangements.
• Advocate for children with Intake and Family Service Units.
• Maintain a focus on the needs of the child.
