Quapaw Nation Careers is seeking a Kinship Navigator Specialist for the Ki-Ho-Ta Center to support relative and kinship caregivers within ICW. You will advocate, coordinate resources, and help families access services while upholding cultural values.

The role emphasizes trauma-informed practice, strong organizational skills, and collaboration with tribal and state partners to promote family stability and prevent unnecessary foster care entry when safe.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience with Native American communities and kinship welfare preferred.
• Strong communication, advocacy, and case management skills; trauma‑informed practice knowledge expected.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for kinship caregivers and relatives; provide information and referrals.
• Develop individualized Family Support Plans with caregivers to promote stable placements.
• Coordinate services across tribal, state, and community partners and assist with benefits enrollment.
• Conduct home visits to assess needs and provide support within culturally appropriate practice.
• Maintain confidential case records and assist with data collection for reporting.
