Job summary

NorthCare seeks an Advocate to support kinship foster families referred by Oklahoma Human Services. The role links families with community resources, facilitates access, and fosters relations with state agencies to maintain placement and permanency for children in kinship homes.

Supervision by Program Manager, with travel to communities as needed. Must have a Bachelor's in Social Work or related field (Master’s preferred) and be able to work in a flexible, schedule-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum 1 year experience in a related field.
• Must have valid Oklahoma driver’s license.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Identify the needs of kinship foster families and connect them with available services.
• Maintain positive relationships with OKDHS personnel and leadership.
• Support problem-solving to help with placement stability.
• Document data for program evaluation and maintain records per policy.
