Job summary

Easterseals Blake Foundation seeks a Licensing Specialist to guide kinship families through foster care licensing, conduct home studies, inspections, and ensure timely compliance with state requirements. You will coordinate with DCS/OLR, maintain files, and deliver training to kinship providers in a fast-paced, client-focused setting.

Qualifications include a HS diploma or GED (Bachelor’s preferred) and strong communication skills; Spanish language ability is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED with 1 year related experience or equivalent
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Spanish language ability preferred

Responsibilities

• Guide kinship families through the licensing process and prepare home studies
• Conduct home inspections and ensure compliance with licensing requirements
• Maintain complete family files and timely submission of licensing materials
• Schedule visits and coordinate with DCS and OL R for waivers as needed
• Provide initial licensing and ongoing training to kinship providers
