The National Youth Advocate Program (NYAP) in Columbus, Ohio is seeking a full-time Kinship Care Coordinator to join our Care Management Team. The role supports kinship placements through education, safety planning, and collaboration with Social Workers.

You will complete home studies, document client interactions, and help families access resources. NYAP offers extensive training, loan repayment assistance, healthcare, paid time off, holidays, and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or related Human Services field.
• Two years’ kinship care experience preferred.
• Proficient with standard software (word processing, spreadsheets, databases).

Responsibilities

• Complete initial walkthroughs, home study assessments, and required paperwork.
• Educate kinship placements on reunification and boundaries.
• Develop safety plans and document all client interactions.
• Coordinate with Social Worker to develop service plans and monitor progress.
• Conduct unannounced home visits to review safety plans.
