Job summary

Summit Aviation in the United States is seeking a Fixed Wing King Air Specialist to perform installation, repair, modification and routine maintenance on King Air/ Beechcraft aircraft. The role reports to the Fixed Wing Supervisor and requires working in compliance with company safety practices.

Responsibilities include inspecting, testing, repairing, and servicing aircraft, interpreting manuals, and training new hires as needed. Requires an A&P license and 3–5 years of King Air experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and an A&P license are required.
• 3 to 5 years of prior experience as an aviation fixed wing King Air mechanic or military equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, test, repair, maintain, and service King Air/ Beechcraft aircraft.
• Read and interpret maintenance manuals to determine repair methods.
• Modify aircraft structures following drawings and technical publications.
• Inspect engine and components for cracks, wear or leaks.
• Disassemble and inspect parts for wear or defects.
• Assemble and install electrical, hydraulic, and structural components.
• Adjust, align, and calibrate aircraft systems.
• Test engine and system operations and diagnose malfunctions.
• Perform maintenance per FAA approved data.
• Train new hires and support team members.
