Job summary

Amentum is seeking an experienced C-12/King Air Aircraft Mechanic (FAA A&P) to perform organizational and intermediate level maintenance in Dothan, AL. You will service, troubleshoot, repair, and modify systems to ensure airworthiness, with emphasis on King Air 200/350/1900 models.

The role requires an FAA A&P license, a high school diploma, and the ability to work rotating shifts. Pre-employment medical and security clearance may be required; union-based compensation applies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• FAA A&P license required and must comply with FAR 65.83.
• X years of King Air experience required at levels AM-1/AM-2/AM-3 per union CBA.
• Possession of a valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Servicing, troubleshooting, repairing and modifying aircraft systems to ensure airworthiness.
• Performing tasks on avionics, electrical systems, engines, flight controls and airframe components.
• Using hand tools, power tools, machines, and equipment for repairs.
• Recording discrepancies per approved procedures and contractual terms.
• Understanding and using computerized maintenance software.
• Conducting engine run or taxi operations and meeting certification timelines.
