Job summary

Textron Aviation is hiring a full-time A&P (Airframe & Powerplant) mechanic for King Air at San Antonio, TX. You will inspect, maintain, modify, and repair Cessna and Beechcraft aircraft, performing engine and airframe work with a variety of tools and procedures to ensure safe flight operations.

The role requires an A&P license, a high school education or GED, and at least 2 years of diversified aircraft maintenance experience, with potential for multiple shifts and a competitive total rewards

Qualifications

High school education or GED required.
A&P License required.
Knowledge of 100-hour, annual, and progressive inspection procedures per FAR 43 is required.
A minimum of 2 years' experience with diversified jet, turboprop, piston, modification, aircraft/flight maintenance.

Responsibilities

Perform mechanical tasks on various aircraft models, including diagnosing malfunctions, disassembly, rework, repair, replacement, reassembly, and adjustment of aircraft systems to prepare for flight and delivery.
Perform troubleshooting, inspection, and repair of turbine engines, including engine run-ups; carry out airframe system and component changes, systems checkout, and install service bulletins and kits on both airframes and engines.
Utilize equipment such as tensiometers, micrometers, pressure gauges, dial gauges, vacuum gauges, timing lights, and various hand tools to repair or modify systems or assemblies.
