Qualifications

  • Earned PhD or terminal degree in Kinesiology or closely related discipline.
  • ABD with degree completion by time of appointment.
  • Demonstrated teaching effectiveness in higher education.
  • Teaching competencies in introductory kinesiology social science courses.

Responsibilities

  • Teach the equivalent of 6 courses per academic year (3 fall, 3 spring).
  • Provide leadership to undergraduate curricula evaluation and innovation.
  • Teach core courses including large lectures.
  • Develop and prepare course content, materials, and syllabi.
  • Instruct courses using diverse modes of delivery.
  • Supervise graduate teaching assistants.
  • Participate in on-campus professional development training.
